Consultant Interventional Musculoskeletal Radiologist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Interventional Musculoskeletal Radiologist to join a leading healthcare organization in Dubai. The role involves advanced musculoskeletal imaging and image‑guided minimally invasive procedures for orthopedic, sports medicine, rheumatologic and pain‑related conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret advanced musculoskeletal imaging modalities including MRI, CT, ultrasound, X‑ray and radiography.
• Perform ultrasound‑ and image‑guided procedures such as joint injections, aspirations, tendon‑sheath and bursal injections, soft‑tissue interventions, image‑guided biopsies, calcific tendinopathy treatments, radiofrequency ablation, hydrodissection and other pain‑management interventions.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians, rheumatologists, physiatrists, pain specialists and physiotherapists, providing clinically relevant reports and participating in multidisciplinary meetings.
• Ensure patient safety through proper counselling, informed consent, post‑procedure monitoring and management of complications.
• Contribute to quality assurance, peer review, clinical audit, research, teaching and mentoring of junior radiologists.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS, MD or equivalent) with recognized postgraduate qualification in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Board certification and a valid UAE professional licence or eligibility for licensing in Dubai.
• Significant post‑specialty experience at consultant level in musculoskeletal radiology, including advanced MRI, CT, ultrasound and radiographic interpretation.
• Hands‑on experience with image‑guided MSK interventions, ultrasound‑guided and fluoroscopy/CT‑guided procedures.
• Experience in a tertiary hospital or advanced imaging centre is preferred.
