Consultant Interventional Pulmonologist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Consultant Interventional Pulmonologist to join our specialist respiratory medicine team in Dubai. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality diagnostic and therapeutic pulmonary services, especially advanced bronchoscopic and interventional procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose and manage complex respiratory disorders.
• Perform advanced bronchoscopic procedures such as flexible and rigid bronchoscopy, EBUS, transbronchial biopsy and bronchoalveolar lavage.
• Provide airway interventions, manage central airway obstruction and deliver endobronchial therapies.
• Conduct pleural procedures including thoracentesis and chest‑tube management.
• Collaborate with thoracic surgery, oncology, radiology, pathology and critical care teams.
• Document clinical care accurately and participate in quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS/MD) with postgraduate qualification in Pulmonology.
• Fellowship or advanced training in Interventional Pulmonology.
• Valid licensure to practice as a Consultant in Dubai/UAE.
• Significant post‑specialist experience in pulmonology and interventional procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
