Consultant Interventional Radiologist – Australian Board – UAE

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Interventional Radiologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai, UAE. The role involves delivering advanced diagnostic and interventional radiology services and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced image‑guided interventional procedures, including vascular and non‑vascular interventions such as biopsies, drainages, angioplasty and embolisation.
• Interpret diagnostic imaging studies (CT, MRI, ultrasound, angiography) and manage patients before, during and after procedures.
• Ensure patient safety, radiation protection and adherence to clinical protocols.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records and contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Support training and supervision of junior doctors and healthcare professionals where applicable.

Required profile

• Australian Board Certification in Interventional Radiology or an equivalent recognised specialist qualification.
• Substantial specialist training and experience in Interventional Radiology.
• Eligibility for consultant‑level licensure with the relevant UAE health authority (DHA, DOH or MOHAP).
• Strong clinical judgement, communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
• Excellent command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
