Consultant Neurosurgeon (Cranial) – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a senior Consultant Neurosurgeon with a focus on cranial surgery to join a leading tertiary hospital in Dubai. The role involves delivering advanced neurosurgical care, leading complex cases, and contributing to the growth of a high‑performing neuroscience program.

Key responsibilities

• Manage cranial neurosurgical conditions such as tumors, trauma, vascular lesions, hydrocephalus and skull‑base disorders.
• Perform complex cranial procedures using microsurgical, minimally invasive and image‑guided techniques.
• Lead multidisciplinary case discussions with neurology, ICU, oncology, radiology and rehabilitation teams.
• Oversee pre‑operative assessment, surgical planning, intra‑operative decision‑making and post‑operative care.
• Ensure compliance with international quality, safety and patient‑experience standards.
• Participate in clinical governance, morbidity‑mortality reviews and protocol optimisation.
• Teach, mentor and support the professional development of junior doctors and allied health staff.
• Contribute to research, audits and innovation in neurosurgical practice.

Required profile

• Board Certification / CCT / FRCS (Neurosurgery) or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Minimum 5–7 years post‑specialty training experience with a strong focus on cranial neurosurgery.
• Proven track record of performing complex cranial procedures in a tertiary or academic centre.
• Excellent leadership, communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
