Consultant Pediatric Neurologist (Arabic Speaker)

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Consultant Pediatric Neurologist who is fluent in Arabic to join a leading hospital in Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering evidence‑based, patient‑centred neurological care to infants, children and adolescents across a broad spectrum of disorders.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage pediatric neurological conditions such as epilepsy, developmental delays, neuromuscular disorders, headaches, movement disorders and neurogenetic diseases.
• Perform comprehensive neurological assessments, review medical histories and interpret investigations including EEG, MRI, CT and other neurophysiological studies.
• Develop individualized treatment and long‑term management plans for both inpatient and outpatient cases.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, neurosurgeons, rehabilitation specialists, psychologists and other multidisciplinary team members.
• Provide counseling and education to patients and families regarding conditions, treatment options and ongoing care.
• Participate in clinical audits, research, academic activities, conferences and continuing medical education.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with DOH regulations and hospital policies.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) recognised by the DOH Abu Dhabi.
• Board certification or fellowship in Pediatric Neurology.
• Valid DOH Consultant licence or eligibility letter in Pediatric Neurology.
• Minimum five years of experience as a Consultant Pediatric Neurologist in a tertiary‑care or academic hospital.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Western‑trained candidates are preferred.
