Corporate Communications & Public Affairs Lead

About the role

Based in the MENA Regional Office in Dubai, you will lead corporate communications across the Middle East and North Africa while supporting public affairs priorities in Iraq, Lebanon and Kuwait. You will translate regional business goals into compelling storytelling and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver internal communications strategies, leadership campaigns and employee engagement initiatives across MENA.
• Lead external communications, media relations and proactive storytelling to strengthen Arla’s reputation and leadership visibility.
• Manage regional communication channels such as town halls, newsletters, intranet, corporate websites and social media.
• Support public affairs by monitoring policy developments, preparing strategic insights and producing briefings, position papers and executive talking points.
• Build relationships with government entities, industry associations and external stakeholders, and assist with advocacy, leadership visits and crisis communications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Public Affairs, Political Science or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in corporate communications, media relations or public affairs.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, manage multiple priorities and work across diverse markets and cultures.

Required skills

• Excellent written and verbal storytelling in English and Arabic.
• Strong media relations and executive communication experience.
• Ability to create press materials, key messages and thought‑leadership content.
