Corporate Senior Associate

About the role

Hogan Lovells Cadwalader's Corporate and Finance practice group covers the full range of corporate and M&A work, including public and private M&A, joint ventures, strategic alliances, restructurings and complex commercial arrangements, both domestic UK and cross-border. The firm is looking for a Corporate Senior Associate in Dubai, working 40 hours per week, 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, with additional hours sometimes required.

Key responsibilities

• Apply sound legal knowledge of the principles behind corporate and finance matters and keep up with legal developments in specialist areas through regular training.
• Manage projects with strong organisation and project management skills, meeting deadlines and delivering to high quality standards while keeping costs in check.
• Build and maintain good relationships with clients, understand their commercial drivers and sector risks, and actively develop new client relationships.
• Work effectively in teams, share knowledge and act as a source of advice to colleagues.
• Take ownership of project issues, manage your own career development and give accurate, timely time records.

Required profile

• Minimum 2.1 degree with a strong academic background.
• Excellent written communication and drafting skills.
• Outstanding technical skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Regional experience in this field within a top-tier firm is preferred.
