Counsellor/Therapist (CDA Eligible) – Dubai Wellness Centre

About the role

SearchPlus HR is looking for a qualified and compassionate Counsellor or Therapist to join a leading wellness centre in Dubai. The role involves providing professional counselling and therapeutic support to individuals, couples, families, or groups.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct client consultations and assessments to identify emotional, psychological and behavioural concerns.
• Deliver individual, couples, family or group counselling based on qualifications and scope of practice.
• Develop personalised therapeutic plans and apply appropriate counselling approaches.
• Monitor client progress, adjust interventions and maintain confidential records.
• Refer clients to psychologists, psychiatrists or other specialists when needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in case reviews and supervision.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Counselling, Counselling Psychology, Psychotherapy or a related discipline.
• Relevant counselling or therapeutic experience with knowledge of recognised approaches.
• Strong communication, empathy and ability to maintain professional boundaries.
• Valid CDA licence or eligibility to obtain the Community Development Authority licence.
