CPC Relationship Banker - Private Client Coverage

About the role

Citi is hiring a CPC Relationship Banker in Dubai for its Private Client Coverage team. This is a seasoned professional role that applies deep disciplinary knowledge to develop new techniques and improve processes and workflows, and integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. It requires strong analytical, communication and diplomatic skills, and often involves informal or formal leadership and coaching of new recruits.

Key responsibilities

• Review CPC customer needs and asset allocation, and proactively engage customers to confirm their understanding of their needs.
• Advise customers to deepen their relationship by mobilizing additional funds and selling other fee-based products and services suited to current and future needs.
• Review product penetration across the assigned client base and identify prospects for tailored products.
• Ensure coverage of all relationships through customer engagements, risk profiling and financial planning.
• Organize CPC customer events to strengthen customer bonds.
• Acquire new CPC customers by converting referral leads.
• Ensure strict adherence to KYC/AML and other compliance norms, and assess risk carefully in business decisions.
• Protect the firm's reputation and safeguard its clients and assets by complying with applicable laws, rules and regulations, applying sound ethical judgment, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues transparently.

Required profile

• 5 to 8 years of experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to evaluate moderately complex and variable issues, weighing alternatives and balancing conflicting situations.
• Good analytical skills to filter, prioritize and validate complex material from multiple sources.
• Strong communication and diplomacy skills, and regular involvement in coaching and training new recruits.
