About the role

The Demi Chef de Partie will support the outside catering kitchen by preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare, portion, chop, and store ingredients; wash and peel fruits and vegetables.
  • Cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and complete food preparation checklists.
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
  • Test and monitor food for proper cooking, temperature, and quality.
  • Set up and break down work stations, serve food in correct portions, and maintain a clean, disinfected kitchen environment.

Required profile

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related kitchen experience.
  • Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 25 lb.

Required skills

  • Food preparation and portioning.
  • Operation of ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
  • Food safety and temperature control.
