Design Coordination Manager - Facade

About the role

Guildhall is recruiting a Design Coordination Manager for a specialist facade contractor delivering building envelopes on commercial and residential towers across the UAE. The role owns facade design coordination on a live tower project in Dubai, sitting between architects, consultants and the back-office design team to keep design moving ahead of programme and cost. It is a project-office seat on an active build, not a function to set up from scratch, and is described as a rare individual-contributor seat with real coordination authority.

Key responsibilities

• Own facade design coordination on a live tower project in Dubai
• Run coordination meetings with architects and consultants directly
• Interface with trades whose works touch the facade package
• Brief the back-office design team on architect and consultant requirements
• Flag design activities with programme or commercial implications early
• Direct the BIM team's output without modelling the drawings yourself

Required profile

• At least 5 years of facade design experience
• Track record of independently managing project design, not just supporting it
• Experience on office and residential building projects
• Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
• Confidence running coordination meetings with architects and consultants

Required skills

• Practical working knowledge of BIM software

Salary up to AED 20,000 per month.
