About the role
Careers International is recruiting a Design Team Leader in Dubai to lead a team of designers and draftsmen delivering full project design packages. The role covers approval of design submissions, coordination with external parties and preparation of technical documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Lead a team of designers and draftsmen delivering complete project design packages.
- Approve all design submissions, ensuring compliance with standards, codes and client requirements.
- Liaise with consultants, contractors and internal project teams for coordination.
- Prepare technical submittals, calculation reports and façade mock-up proposals.
- Provide technical support during site execution when required.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- 5-8 years of experience, including team management in façade design.
- Expertise in curtain wall, aluminium composite panels, unitized systems and spider glazing.
Required skills
- Advanced CAD and Revit skills.
- Strong leadership and project coordination ability.
