DHA Registered Nursery Nurse (Female)

About the role

Rainbow Valley Nursery is seeking a motivated female Nursery Nurse who holds a DHA‑registered licence. The role focuses on safeguarding children’s health, conducting routine checks, and supporting staff with health‑related guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct entry development and regular health checks for all children.
• Provide confidential health advice to parents and support children with health problems.
• Administer first‑aid, call emergency services when needed, and maintain accident records.
• Develop individual health plans for children with special needs and keep accurate health records.
• Ensure compliance with DHA regulations and nursery policies, including infection control and medication administration.
• Train nursery staff on good health‑care practices and risk‑assessment procedures.
• Assist teachers with daily classroom activities.

Required profile

• Female candidate with a valid DHA licence.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a nursery nurse.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use.
• Fluent English communication skills.
