Director - Project Management

About the role

We are seeking a Director to lead the Project Management function and drive the successful delivery of strategic initiatives across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Establish governance and controls for the project portfolio, overseeing planning, execution and delivery of strategic and operational projects.
• Develop project portfolios, schedules, budgets and resource plans, managing key milestones and executive‑level reporting on performance, risks and dependencies.
• Lead cross‑functional teams, manage stakeholder engagement, and proactively identify and mitigate project risks, issues and scope changes.
• Ensure projects meet quality, safety, financial and operational requirements while driving effective resource allocation and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Project Management; postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant project management experience, including senior leadership or PMO roles.
• Proven ability to manage complex, cross‑functional projects and senior stakeholder relationships.
• Strong professional proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• Professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2.
• Experience with PMO governance, risk management and resource planning.
