Document Controller

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to support marine and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. You will manage project documentation, ensure proper filing, and support project teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain project documentation and records in line with project procedures.
• Control receipt, registration, distribution, and filing of documents, including drawings, RFIs, method statements, and material submittals.
• Maintain document registers, track revisions, approvals, and outstanding actions.
• Coordinate document reviews and ensure the latest approved documents are available to the project team.
• Support transmittal preparation, contractor submissions, and project closeout documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Relevant experience as a Document Controller on construction, marine, or infrastructure projects.
• Good knowledge of document control procedures and construction documentation.
• UAE construction/infrastructure experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Required skills

• Experience with Aconex, SharePoint, or similar EDMS platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
