About the role

The Duty Engineer is responsible for monitoring and maintaining mechanical, electrical and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance within the hotel.

Key responsibilities

Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and HVAC equipment.
Perform routine preventive maintenance and respond to emergencies following safety protocols.
Keep detailed records of equipment status, maintenance work and incidents.
Coordinate with other departments to address operational and technical needs.
Support installation, commissioning and testing of new equipment.

Required profile

Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering field.
Relevant technical certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical safety).
Proven experience in maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of engineering systems.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
Ability to work independently and handle emergencies calmly.
