About the role
The EHS Manager will align health, safety, security and environmental (HSSE) goals with project objectives, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce compliance with local, national and international HSE regulations.
- Collaborate with regulatory authorities and develop strategies to mitigate identified risks.
- Lead investigations of incidents, accidents and near‑misses, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver HSE training programs for personnel, contractors and subcontractors.
- Establish and test emergency response plans through drills and simulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify compliance.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline.
- NEBOSH International Diploma or equivalent nationally recognised certification.
- At least 10 years of experience in power/desalination plants, oil & gas construction, preferably in the GCC.
- Preferable experience on photovoltaic (PV) projects.
