Electrical Engineer - Luxury Residential

About the role

A qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer is sought to join a team working on luxury residential projects. The role covers both electrical design and site supervision, ensuring projects meet the highest quality standards and local authority requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor electrical works on site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project requirements.
• Prepare, review and coordinate electrical design documentation, including lighting layouts, power layouts, load schedules, single line diagrams, distribution board schedules, ELV system drawings and other technical documents.
• Review and approve contractors' shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs and method statements.
• Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, structural and interior design teams to resolve technical issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations, local authority requirements and applicable electrical codes.
• Support testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Attend progress meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and subcontractors.
• Maintain project documentation such as inspection reports, progress updates and technical approvals.
• Use Revit for electrical design coordination, model review and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in electrical design and site supervision.
• Experience on luxury residential projects is preferred.
• DEWA certification is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of electrical building systems, Dubai Municipality requirements, local authority regulations and relevant international codes.
• Proven experience reviewing shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, method statements and design documentation.
• Excellent coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
