Electrical Maintenance Technician / Electrician

About the role

The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for delivering preventive and corrective maintenance across assigned properties, ensuring all electrical systems operate safely, efficiently and in line with quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, analyse and repair electrical faults at designated sites.
• Carry out scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance on panels, wiring, control systems and related equipment.
• Respond to electrical emergencies, including on‑call duties, and provide timely resolutions.
• Document emergency actions, maintenance work, parts used and completion reports.
• Supervise and guide the maintenance team on electrical tasks and provide technical training.
• Identify improvement opportunities and recommend system upgrades to the Operations Manager.
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations for all electrical work.

Required profile

• Diploma or professional certification in Electrical Systems.
• Valid UAE driver’s licence.
• Minimum six years of experience as an electrician in property or facilities management.
• Knowledge of both low‑voltage and high‑voltage systems and control circuits.
• Health and safety certification preferred.
