Electrical Maintenance Technician

About the role

Agthia, a publicly listed food and beverage company, is hiring an Electrical Maintenance Technician in Al Bayan, Dubai. The technician maintains and troubleshoots all mechanical systems and technical equipment on the 5-gallon water production lines.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and planned corrective maintenance on all production lines according to the schedule.
• Provide technical assistance to the production team and resolve technical and mechanical issues on the lines and across the organisation.
• Ensure technical systems meet health and safety standards and upgrade equipment when necessary.
• Keep the workspace within the company's GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and 5S standards.
• Identify hazards and report them to the immediate supervisor, and ensure compliance with codes.
• Keep maintenance records up to date and achieve the defined maintenance KPIs.

Required profile

• High school certificate and mechanic diploma.
• 4 years of experience in the food industry, with 3 years in a similar role within the Food & Beverage industry.
• Preferred: experience or knowledge of 5-gallon bottling line equipment such as robots, washers and fillers.

Required skills

• Thorough understanding of mechanical systems, production equipment and health and safety procedures.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
