Engineering Capabilities Development Manager (2‑Year Contract)

About the role

BRIDGE, the corporate learning and capability development centre of EDGE Group, is looking for an Engineering Learning & Bootcamp Manager to design, deliver and continuously improve technical learning programmes that boost engineering capability and workforce readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute technical learning strategies aligned with engineering capability needs and business objectives.
• Design, implement and refine technical academies, onboarding programmes, competency‑based learning pathways and specialised capability initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders, HR and subject‑matter experts to identify capability gaps and create learning solutions.
• Oversee delivery of instructor‑led, virtual, blended, laboratory‑based and simulation‑based technical learning experiences.
• Manage learning operations including budgets, external providers, learning technologies and LMS.
• Measure learning effectiveness through assessments, feedback, competency evaluations and business performance indicators.
• Lead and develop technical trainers and instructional designers, fostering innovation with modern methodologies and immersive technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Education, Business Administration, Organizational Development or related field.
• 8+ years of experience managing technical training, engineering learning programmes or corporate learning initiatives.
• Proven experience designing and delivering competency‑based technical learning programmes.
• Strong understanding of engineering environments, advanced manufacturing, digital technologies and modern industrial practices.
• Experience managing LMS, digital learning platforms, training vendors and cross‑functional stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent leadership, communication, facilitation and project management skills.
