Engineering Lead - MEA

About the role

JLL is seeking an Engineering Lead for the Middle East and Africa region to manage and ensure compliant delivery of all engineering services, including maintenance, projects and help‑desk support, across its Dubai site.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure contractual and operational compliance for all engineering delivery, including Playbook and Operational Compliance Program reporting.
• Oversee Planned Preventative Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance, project works and help‑desk calls in line with client and JLL requirements.
• Provide technical advisory for small works and minor projects, monitoring governance and risk.
• Support senior engineering management with HSE and contractual compliance, budget preparation and emergency escalations.
• Supervise full‑time, part‑time, subcontractor and specialist staff, including training and succession planning.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in critical engineering, with at least 5 years in a lead or management role.
• Recognised Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification; leadership and management experience.
• Fluent English; Arabic fluency is desirable.
• Professional accreditations such as NEBOSH or equivalent, and authorisation for high‑voltage/mechanical systems or confined space work.
