About the role
GEMS Education is seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher for Upper Primary students in Dubai. The successful candidate will deliver the curriculum with up‑to‑date subject knowledge, creating an engaging learning environment for diverse learners.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the required curriculum, ensuring accurate and current content.
- Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons that motivate and inspire students.
- Create and utilise appropriate teaching materials and adapt the classroom environment for different learning styles.
- Maintain records of curriculum plans, attendance, resources, and assessment data.
- Assess, record and report on student progress, using assessment to tailor instruction to individual needs.
- Promote student well‑being and provide guidance on educational matters.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English and a B.Ed (distance or open university not accepted).
- Minimum of 4 years teaching experience in CBSE or IGCSE curricula.
- UAE teaching experience preferred.
- Strong IT and interpersonal communication skills.
