Enterprise Architect - AI & Digital Platforms

About the role

The Enterprise Architect will define and govern the technology architecture for Apparel Group, aligning it with business strategy, digital transformation and AI initiatives. The role acts as a strategic advisor to leadership, driving modernization, scalability and innovation across retail, e‑commerce, supply chain and corporate functions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy and multi‑year technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Establish architecture principles, standards, frameworks and governance processes across the Group.
• Lead architecture reviews for major initiatives ensuring security, scalability and alignment with enterprise standards.
• Drive application portfolio rationalisation, integration architecture (API‑first, event‑driven) and cloud modernisation.
• Collaborate with data, analytics and digital teams to build AI‑ready data foundations and omnichannel solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies such as Generative AI, automation and intelligent retail platforms and recommend adoption.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 12+ years of technology leadership experience, including at least 5 years in enterprise architecture.
• Proven experience in retail, e‑commerce or large multi‑brand organisations.
• Strong knowledge of TOGAF and modern cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).

• TOGAF enterprise architecture framework.
• Cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform.
• Retail ERP systems: SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics.
• API management and event‑driven integration patterns.
• Data lakehouse and analytics platforms.
