Enterprise Services AI Agent Engineer Graduate – Global Travel

About the role

We are building an intelligent enterprise‑services platform to support ByteDance’s global operations. As a graduate AI Agent Engineer you will join the Corporate Service System team, working on AI‑powered backend services for the Global Travel division.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and the Agent runtime with a focus on code quality and performance.
• Integrate internal enterprise systems into Agents using tools, MCP, CLI, and A2A interfaces.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to team coding standards and architectural conventions.
• Write clear, AI‑friendly technical documentation and contribute to the team knowledge base.
• Explore embedding AI capabilities into backend services and support AI‑driven feature development, evaluation, and validation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and computer systems with solid coding habits.
• Proficiency in one or more languages: Golang, Java, or Python.
• Hands‑on experience with distributed systems and microservice architecture.
• Understanding of AI Agent architectural patterns such as reasoning, memory management, and multi‑Agent collaboration.
