About the role

Careers International is recruiting an Equipment Engineer in Dubai for the oil and gas sector. The engineer manages construction equipment across project sites, ensuring its availability, maintenance and performance efficiency.

Key responsibilities

Manage the inventory of construction equipment and tools
Coordinate maintenance and repair schedules
Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
Assess equipment performance and utilization
Support procurement of new machinery and tools
Liaise with vendors for spare parts and services
Prepare equipment maintenance reports
Train site teams on safe equipment usage

Required profile

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or a related engineering field
Certified and registered engineer
5 years of experience in equipment maintenance or engineering
Knowledge of site safety protocols

Required skills

Strong understanding of heavy machinery and tools
Familiarity with maintenance software and systems
Ability to manage budgets and vendors
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
