EV Service Advisor - BYD

About the role

Al-Futtaim Electric Mobility, part of Al-Futtaim Automotive, is hiring a Service Advisor for its BYD electric vehicle aftersales team. The role guides customers through their EV service journey, turning digital leads into loyal buyers and building trust from vehicle reception through to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers and give professional advice on EV maintenance, repairs, charging systems and service requirements
• Create service estimates and explain repair recommendations clearly
• Build long-term customer relationships to improve retention and loyalty
• Coordinate with EV technicians and workshop teams so repairs finish on time
• Keep customers informed with regular updates and handle concerns professionally
• Promote additional services, accessories, charging solutions and maintenance packages where appropriate
• Deliver vehicles on time with a clear explanation of all work done
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow company policies

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Automotive, Mechanical Engineering, Business or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing aftersales role in the automotive industry
• Experience with EV or hybrid brands is highly preferred
• Good understanding of workshop operations and service processes
• Excellent English; Arabic is an advantage; UAE driving licence preferred

Required skills

• Strong customer service, relationship management and sales and upselling skills
• Ability to explain technical information simply
• Working knowledge of MS Office; SAP experience is an advantage
