Business Development Manager - Technology (GCC)

About the role

A client of Flatgigs, a results-driven IT services company with over 14 years in the market and around 200 public and private sector clients across the region, is looking for a Business Development Manager in the GCC. This is a pure hunter and closer role: you will own the pipeline, pursue new logos and work with existing clients to find more value.

Key responsibilities

• Spend most of your time in front of people: finding new clients, attending events and building relationships at the right level.
• Turn conversations into opportunities and work the existing client base to understand their needs and where more value can be added.
• Own won business: stay close to delivery, manage the commercial side and make sure the client feels looked after.
• Keep the CRM clean, maintain up-to-date reports and monitor pipeline and account health.

Required profile

• Five or more years of business development or sales experience in the GCC.
• Background in selling services, with experience managing enterprise or complex deals across multiple stakeholders.
• Track record of building pipeline from scratch; field-based, wanting to meet clients daily.
• Consultative approach and credible presence at C-level.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CRM tools.
• Arabic is a plus.
