F&B Procurement Officer

About the role

The F&B Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing fresh food, beverages and restaurant supplies for all Parx cafe locations. You will work closely with chefs, branch managers and the accounts team to ensure timely and cost‑effective deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Source and purchase fresh food, meat, poultry, seafood, dairy, dry goods, beverages, packaging and restaurant supplies.
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations, negotiate prices, credit terms, delivery schedules and supply agreements.
• Coordinate with chefs, branch managers, warehouse and accounts teams to meet quality and food safety standards.
• Monitor daily and weekly purchasing requirements based on consumption and stock levels.
• Maintain approved supplier lists, evaluate performance and identify alternative suppliers.
• Handle supplier issues such as shortages, incorrect deliveries, quality complaints and returns.
• Support menu costing by providing updated ingredient and purchasing prices.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of F&B procurement experience, preferably within restaurants or hospitality in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE food suppliers and wholesale markets.
• Experience sourcing meat, poultry, seafood, vegetables, dairy, dry goods and restaurant consumables.
• Good understanding of food quality, shelf life, storage and food safety requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage urgent restaurant requirements.
• Arabic and English communication skills are preferred.
