About the role
The Chef De Cuisine will lead daily kitchen operations at Buddha‑Bar Dubai, delivering high‑quality Pan‑Asian cuisine while driving guest and employee satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise all kitchen areas, ensuring consistent, high‑quality food production and compliance with sanitation standards.
- Develop new menus and recipes, manage purchasing, receiving, and food storage, and maintain equipment.
- Lead, coach, and schedule the culinary team, handling performance reviews and training.
- Control food costs, waste, and portion sizes, and implement environmentally friendly processes.
- Handle guest feedback, resolve complaints, and ensure exceptional customer service.
Required profile
- High school diploma/GED with 4 years culinary experience, or a 2‑year degree in Culinary Arts/Hotel Management with 2 years experience.
- Proven ability to manage kitchen operations, staff development, and budgetary responsibilities.
