About the role
Join the Food & Beverage team at Meliá Desert Palm, a luxury urban resort in Dubai, delivering exceptional guest experiences across all dining venues.
Key responsibilities
- Provide attentive, personalized service to guests, ensuring warm welcomes and professional farewells.
- Handle billing and payment procedures accurately using the Point of Sale system.
- Maintain station cleanliness, store reusable goods, and complete closing duties according to hotel standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues from all departments to ensure smooth operation and timely service.
- Stay informed about menu items and hotel facilities to answer guest inquiries.
Required profile
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar waiter/waitress role.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and multitasking abilities.
Required skills
- Hands‑on experience with cash registers and ordering information systems.
- Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) equipment.
