Finance Business Partner - MDF

About the role

A client, a leader in the global payments technology industry, is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join its team in Dubai. The role reports directly to the Sub-Regional CFO and works closely with cross-functional teams and business project management offices. It focuses on the Market Development Fund (MDF).

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial governance of the Market Development Fund (MDF) across sub-regional clusters and countries.
• Drive financial planning processes including budgets, forecasts, annual operating plans and multi-year growth plans.
• Analyse MDF trends and product mix, and monitor risks and opportunities against forecasts to optimise MDF use.
• Collaborate with finance, controllership and business teams to ensure accurate financial data and compliance with policies and GAAP.
• Support resource allocation, costing models and efficiency improvements, and track project performance against business plans.
• Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards and insights to senior stakeholders, and lead monthly reviews of variances.
• Coordinate stakeholders on priority projects and payments, and support process improvements in MDF finance operations.
• Assist in pricing discussions, financial modelling and executive presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in financial analysis within multinational or large organisations.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken; knowledge of the cards and payment industry is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a complex, fast-paced, diverse international environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience building financial models and handling large datasets.
• Hyperion/TM1 is a plus.
