Finance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Manager to lead, manage and support all finance and procurement activities for Veolia in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures sound financial management, continuous improvement and compliance with the Integrated Management System while supporting the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present monthly financial performance reports for management decision‑making.
• Coordinate the annual budget, quarterly forecasts and provide financial advice.
• Oversee issuance of internal and external financial statements and reports.
• Manage cash‑flow reporting, payroll, receivables and payables to optimise liquidity.
• Lead the finance team, conduct performance appraisals and ensure training on accounting best practices.
• Supervise purchasing activities, negotiate service agreements and ensure cost‑efficient procurement.
• Act as financial signatory and manage all banking activities, including transfers, hedging and guarantees.
• Ensure compliance with UAE laws, IFRS and International Accounting Standards.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree from a recognised institution.
• Minimum 3 years of finance experience, preferably in an industrial environment.
• UAE valid light‑vehicle driving licence.
• Strong analytical, reporting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); additional Hindi/Urdu/Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of VAT regulations.
• Proficiency with IFRS accounting standards.
• Advanced use of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.).
