Financial Accountant

About the role

Capital Round Accounting & Bookkeeping, an accounting firm with over eight years of experience serving clients in the UAE, UK and USA, is hiring a full-time, on-site Financial Accountant in Dubai. The role covers preparing, reviewing and analysing financial statements, keeping accurate general ledger records and ensuring timely financial reporting in line with local and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and analyse financial statements and maintain accurate general ledger records.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank and intercompany accounts.
• Support tax filings and audit requirements.
• Work with consultants and clients to provide financial insights, support budgeting and forecasting and improve accounting processes and controls.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet audit, tax and regulatory obligations for client engagements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; ACCA, CPA or CA is an advantage.
• Experience in audit, tax or consultancy, ideally in the UAE or international markets.
• Currently residing in Dubai; candidates living elsewhere will not be considered.
• Available to join immediately; maximum of 2 years of UAE work experience.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity and good communication skills.

Required skills

• Strong finance and financial reporting skills, including preparation and analysis of financial statements and management reports.
• Understanding of IFRS or other relevant accounting standards.
• Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Strong Excel skills.

What we offer

• Salary of AED 4,000 to 5,500 depending on qualifications and experience.
