Financial Analyst

About the role

The Financial Analyst will support the business development function by conducting research, competition mapping, feasibility analysis, and evaluating new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct new brand evaluations through research and competition mapping.
• Build feasibility templates and benchmark against existing business information.
• Prepare high‑level analysis and synopsis of new business opportunities.
• Extract financial data and conduct detailed analysis of existing businesses.
• Prepare Internal Approval Notes (IAN) for submissions.
• Capture, manage, and analyze data to identify key business insights.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date data and error‑free feasibility models.
• Monitor customer trends and market shifts to support feasibility research and business decisions.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in a similar role; retail experience is an advantage.
• Professional finance qualification is a plus.
• Strong data analytics, research and reporting abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools with strong planning, communication and organizational skills.
