About the role
China State Construction Middle East (CSCEC ME) is recruiting a Construction Manager for finishing works to join its construction team on a large-scale high-rise tower project in Dubai, UAE.
Key responsibilities
- Keep construction activities on schedule and within budget, reviewing planning, budgeting and resource needs.
- Optimize use of labour, materials and equipment, and resolve conflicts between participants.
- Monitor progress regularly, hold status meetings with sub-teams and revise work plans as needed.
- Coordinate architects, consultants, contractors and subcontractors.
- Manage the budget, track expenses and minimize project risks.
- Obtain permits and licenses and ensure a valid NOC from the relevant authorities.
- Ensure compliance with legal and QEHS requirements, and keep project documents and site reports complete.
- Inspect sites regularly, monitor client and consultant feedback, attend client and consultant meetings, and take part in QEHS training for staff.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in high-rise tower projects.
- Experience in finishing works.
