Floor Manager / Assistant Outlet Manager

About the role

The Floor Manager / Assistant Outlet Manager supports daily outlet operations, ensuring smooth service flow and high guest satisfaction. This hands‑on role leads shifts, coordinates the floor team, and acts as the bridge between service staff and outlet leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise floor activity during service, managing guest flow, seating, and reservations.
• Lead the shift in the Restaurant Manager’s absence and support opening/closing procedures.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and drive service recovery.
• Conduct shift briefings, communicate priorities, VIPs, and menu updates.
• Coach and supervise front‑of‑house staff, ensuring performance standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, grooming, and compliance with health‑safety standards.
• Support cash‑up, stock checks, and daily operational readiness.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of restaurant or hospitality experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of floor operations, guest service, and team coordination.
• Confident handling of complaints and busy periods in a calm manner.
• Good leadership presence and communication skills.
• Fluent English; additional languages a plus.
