Food & Beverage Reservations Sales Agent

About the role

FIVE Hotels and Resorts is hiring a Food & Beverage Reservations Sales Agent in Dubai. The role acts as the first point of contact for guests, turning inbound calls and online enquiries into confirmed reservations for the group's food and beverage concepts. The advertised compensation is a fixed monthly salary of AED 2,400.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls and online chat enquiries promptly and professionally, converting them into confirmed reservations.
• Facilitate table reservations, dining and entertainment enquiries and other guest requests.
• Showcase the group's food and beverage offerings and use up-selling techniques to enhance the guest experience.
• Respond quickly and accurately to guest queries by phone, email and other channels, including emergencies, and follow up diligently.
• Take part in weekly and monthly department meetings and adhere to department standards, SOPs and safety policies.
• Document customer interactions, keep records up to date and safeguard guest information.

Required profile

• 1-2 years of sales experience as a Food and Beverage Reservations Sales Agent in a luxury hotel in the UAE.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills, with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.

Required skills

• Computer literacy with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Exceptional knowledge of Hotel PMS, specifically Opera.
