Front-End Software Engineer

About the role

ISA is looking for a Front-End Software Engineer who will provide development expertise across its software development streams. The role covers the implementation and quality automation of ISA's software products, the delivery of software projects and the adoption of emerging technologies, while ensuring user interfaces meet requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver software products and components for ISA, contributing to the technology stack, design, development, deployment and automated testing.
• Translate business needs into technical implementations in line with ISA's architectural principles, working with the product team, project managers and IT solutions managers.
• Review technical documentation, user guides, training manuals and system specifications, and give feedback on architectural designs.
• Identify the technical tools and languages needed for design execution and ensure service levels are met, reporting status to specialists, users and managers.
• Share knowledge proactively with colleagues and maintain good relationships with project, product, operations, governance and enterprise development teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Fluent in English.
• 1-2 years of front-end development experience on production web applications; travel, airline or e-commerce experience is preferred.

Required skills

• Angular and React frameworks.
• TypeScript, modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5 and CSS3/SCSS.
• State management (NgRx, Redux or similar).
• REST API integration and asynchronous data handling.
• Front-end testing (Jest, Jasmine, Karma or Cypress) and Git-based workflows with CI/CD.
• Preferred: micro-frontends and module federation, WCAG accessibility, web performance optimisation, cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and MS Office.
