Full Stack Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Full‑Stack Engineer to design, develop and maintain scalable enterprise portals on Liferay DXP 7.4 for a Dubai‑based client. The role is a 12‑month contract and will be based on‑site, working closely with both backend and frontend teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise portals using Liferay DXP 7.4.
• Build and deploy OSGi modules, custom portlets and REST services.
• Extend Liferay core features via Extension Points, Model Listeners, Service Wrappers and Hooks.
• Integrate Redis for distributed caching and manage Liferay caching mechanisms.
• Develop responsive UI with React.js, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and Bootstrap.
• Create and configure Liferay Objects, web‑content structures, templates and workflows.
• Write Service Builder modules, expose secure APIs and automate tasks with Groovy.
• Ensure code quality with SonarQube, write unit/integration tests and support CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins).
• Troubleshoot production issues, analyse logs and optimise portal performance.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Liferay architecture, OSGi framework and portal internals.
• Proven experience building enterprise portals and custom portlets.
• Ability to work on‑site in Dubai for the contract duration.
