General Accountant - Real Estate Brokerage

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented General Accountant to lead the financial operations of our real‑estate brokerage. The role combines full‑cycle bookkeeping, tax compliance and regulatory oversight to support strategic decision‑making across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Prepare, review and file quarterly VAT returns and oversee corporate tax compliance.
• Implement and monitor AML verification procedures and related regulatory filings for property transactions.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, profit & loss reports and cash‑flow forecasts for senior leadership.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation during audit cycles.

Required profile

• 2–5+ years of hands‑on accounting experience, preferably within a real‑estate brokerage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA/ACCA/CIMA qualification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of UAE tax regulations (VAT, Corporate Tax) and real‑estate AML frameworks.
