General Manager – Project Investment & Fund Management

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to head our Project Investment and Fund Management Department. The role drives the identification, acquisition, and management of high‑quality energy‑related investments worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate high‑quality investment and M&A targets in the global energy sector in line with the company’s strategy.
• Lead fund management activities, including raising external capital, providing investor services, and overseeing post‑investment management.
• Establish and maintain communication channels with upstream and downstream partners throughout project investment cooperation.
• Conduct market research, due diligence, and risk‑control management across all investment stages.
• Design and execute exit strategies such as IPOs, M&A, or equity transfers to maximise returns and fund appreciation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or higher in finance, energy engineering or a related field; graduates from prestigious universities preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in top securities firms, investment institutions, industry fund companies, or listed/IPO‑ready energy firms.
• Proven leadership in energy‑sector investment, capital raising, and full‑cycle fund management.
• Extensive industry networks, strong communication, negotiation, and resilience under pressure.
