General Manager - Sales

About the role

The client seeks an experienced, commercially driven General Manager – Sales to lead sales and business development across logistics, transportation, warehousing, 3PL, supply chain and related B2B services in Sharjah.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
• Lead, mentor and manage the sales team across multiple business lines.
• Identify new markets, business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
• Drive new business acquisition and expand the customer portfolio.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors and strategic partners.
• Set sales targets, budgets and KPIs while monitoring team performance.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities and customer requirements to guide sales and pricing strategies.
• Work closely with senior management on business planning, forecasting and P&L management.
• Oversee contract negotiations and approve major commercial agreements.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or related discipline; MBA is an advantage.
• 10‑12 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3‑5 years in a senior sales leadership role.
• Proven track record of achieving revenue growth and leading successful sales teams.
• Demonstrated success in business development and strategic account management.
• Strong network within UAE trading, logistics, distribution, transportation, warehousing or related B2B sectors.
• Solid understanding of P&L management, budgeting and sales forecasting.
• Mandatory experience in the UAE market.
