Global Manager – Commercial Applications Business Owner (Freight Forwarding)

About the role

The Global Manager – Commercial Applications Business Owner will act as the day‑to‑day owner of the CRM platform for Freight Forwarding Operations Excellence. You will translate the CRM strategy into prioritized requirements, configure the system and drive continuous improvement to support sales, marketing and customer service worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap, prioritize features and manage releases for Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to align CRM capabilities with commercial processes.
• Oversee development, quality assurance and user acceptance testing activities.
• Design and automate sales processes, account and contact management, and case handling.
• Manage marketing automation, campaign execution and reporting.
• Ensure data quality, governance and integration with ERP, quotation tools and other business systems.
• Lead change management, user training and adoption initiatives.
• Coordinate with vendors and partners to maintain system performance and roadmap alignment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Marketing, Information Systems or a related field.
• Proven experience in CRM management, product management or sales operations.
• Deep experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM (Sales, Marketing and/or Customer Service modules).
• Strong understanding of sales methodologies and commercial operations.
• Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, configure CRM solutions and define acceptance criteria.
