Graduate Civil Engineer – UAE Nationals

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Civil Engineer to work on diverse and challenging projects within Wood's Energy sector in the UAE. You will develop your engineering skills, gain valuable industry experience, and contribute to transformative energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Apply graduate‑level understanding of engineering practices, design methods and calculations.
• Interpret technical information relevant to civil engineering and suggest design changes for functional, cost‑effective results.
• Demonstrate the application of theory in a practical context and prepare accurate written reports.
• Follow standards, processes, procedures and regulatory frameworks in work execution.
• Utilise general computer literacy and basic familiarity with specialist engineering software.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail, commitment to quality and ability to meet project deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.
• Internship or relevant project experience (preferred) and eagerness to develop as a professional engineer.

Required skills

• General computer literacy.
• Basic familiarity with specialist engineering software.
