Graduate Engineer - Building Structures (Emirati National)

About the role

WSP in the Middle East is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Emirati graduate to join its Building Structures team as a Graduate Engineer in Sharjah. The role suits a recent graduate who wants to build a career in project management within the built environment, offering hands-on experience supporting project planning, coordination and delivery alongside multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing project plans, timelines and documentation.
• Support day-to-day project coordination, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports and tracking deliverables.
• Monitor project progress and help identify risks, issues and dependencies.
• Carry out research, data gathering and analysis to support decision-making.
• Prepare presentations and project updates for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams so tasks are completed on time.
• Maintain organized and accurate project records and documentation.
• Support process improvement initiatives within the project management function.

Required profile

• UAE national with a valid Family Book.
• Recent graduate in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a project-driven environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
