Head of Commercial – Rigid Plastics Packaging Solutions

About the role

This senior leadership position is responsible for driving growth, profitability and customer strategy for rigid plastic packaging solutions across the GCC, reporting to plant leadership and regional stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the commercial strategy for rigid packaging in the UAE.
• Identify growth segments, key accounts and portfolio opportunities.
• Lead and develop the national sales organization, ensuring high performance and accountability.
• Manage strategic top‑tier customers, negotiate long‑term contracts and pricing frameworks.
• Own sales planning, forecasting accuracy and pipeline discipline.
• Develop and govern pricing strategy, contribution margins and discount policies.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations and Supply Chain on costing, mix improvement and profitability.
• Align commercial commitments with plant capacity and cost structures.
• Build, coach and retain a strong commercial leadership bench.

Required profile

• At least 12 years of B2B commercial experience in packaging, FMCG or related sectors.
• Proven track record of delivering top‑line growth and margin improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large sales teams and manage key customer relationships.
• Strong analytical mindset with data‑driven decision making.
