Head of Cost & Quality Control

About the role

Uniestate Properties is seeking an experienced Head of Cost & Quality Control to safeguard development budgets, ensure technical quality standards, and drive cost efficiency across all projects. This senior position supports informed decision‑making and maintains financial discipline throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cost and quality control for development and capital projects, reviewing feasibility studies, budgets, BOQs and investment proposals.
• Validate selling prices, absorption assumptions and revenue projections; rebuild and independently verify feasibility models.
• Monitor and report project costs, cash flow, and profitability; control spending, verify invoices, claims and variation orders.
• Coordinate with Finance, Legal and procurement on forecasting, reporting, audits and contract compliance.
• Maintain development approval matrices, capture lessons learned and standardise best practices across projects.

Required profile

• 9+ years of experience in project management and technical services, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
• Strong leadership, ethics, stakeholder management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Accounting (preferred).
