Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance

About the role

As part of Driven Asset Management, we are looking for a Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance to build and lead our governance, risk, compliance, and performance frameworks. This founding role will establish policies, processes, SOPs, risk management, compliance, and OKRs from the ground up, driving accountability across departments and reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the company’s core policy suite covering insurance, delegation of authority, related‑party transactions, regulatory compliance, contract approval, client money handling, incident reporting, procurement, vendor prequalification, risk management, data protection, whistleblowing, document retention, HSE, code of conduct and business continuity.
• Build and keep live a regulatory compliance calendar for RERA, Mollak, escrow, owners association elections and statutory audits, with proactive deadline escalation.
• Track insurance renewals with 90/60/30‑day alerts to ensure zero‑expiry status for all assets.
• Manage contract lifecycle – review, approval, renewal and expiry alerts – and maintain a company‑wide contract review checklist.
• Oversee intercompany billing, commissions and settlements, ensuring related‑party transactions are documented, reconciled and audit‑ready.
• Run incident investigations, root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action tracking from intake to verified closure.
• Lead the internal audit cycle on a quarterly rotating basis, driving findings to closure against defined targets.
• Administer the mobilization compliance gate, ensuring every new project receives sign‑off before go‑live.
• Maintain and regularly review the risk register, scoring and monitoring risks.

Required profile

• Minimum 96 months (8 years) of experience in governance, risk and compliance functions.
• Proven ability to design and implement policy frameworks and compliance calendars.
• Experience reporting to senior leadership and driving cross‑functional accountability.
