Head of People Operations

About the role

Taptap Send is looking for a systems‑minded leader to head its People Operations function. This senior, high‑ownership role goes beyond traditional HR, treating People Operations as a scalable, automated system that supports a fast‑growing global team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop the People Operations team, setting direction and raising execution standards as the company scales.
• Own the People Operations strategy and AI‑enabled transformation agenda, designing scalable systems and automation across payroll, compensation, reporting and operational workflows.
• Build people‑data infrastructure and self‑serve dashboards for headcount, attrition, hiring pipeline and compensation.
• Manage compensation and role governance, including salary banding, benchmarking and leveling frameworks.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across Finance, Legal and the wider business, linking people data to business planning.
• Institutionalise goal‑setting and management operations across the organisation and maintain the knowledge centre and internal Q&A.

Required profile

• 8+ years in a high‑performing, analytical environment such as consulting, business operations, finance or a fast‑growing startup, with experience leading a function or team.
• Strategic, transformative mindset capable of rethinking traditional processes to drive organisational change.
• Strong track record of building systems and processes from scratch and scaling them.
• Highly analytical, comfortable building dashboards, working with data and using metrics for decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, able to influence across functions.
• Proven people‑leadership experience, capable of setting direction, coaching and maintaining high standards.

Required skills

• Experience with AI tools for workflow automation.
